A few years before she died, my mother gave me a lapel pin that boasted, “So many books, so little time.” I still feel that way. I am a reader, a serious reader. I never go anywhere without a book (because I never know when I’m going to have to wait). There are very few times when I’m not reading several somethings.

So this is my page of Book Recommendations. Some of these books are old; some are new. Some are favorites. Some made me cranky. Some were good for me and helped me grow or understand something new. Others I wanted to toss across the room. The list will undoubtedly be eclectic, just like me, so try these on for a bit, and consider this a standing invitation to have a cup of tea with me and talk books!
